WHO WE ARE
Klapper & Fass is a New York law firm, founded in 1995 by attorneys Joshua H. Klapper and Daniel A. Fass. The attorneys of Klapper & Fass specialize in commercial debt collection and recovery of accounts receivables and bad debts for creditors located throughout the nation. As a New York based litigation firm, the attorneys of Klapper & Fass also have expertise in equipment lease litigation, construction, secured lending, real estate, corporate and general commercial litigation.
WHAT WE DO
Klapper & Fass utilizes state of the art web based collection software which allows our clients and agencies real time access to debt collection claims and automatically provides status updates by email. New claims are expeditiously entered in our systems and our attorneys generate demand letters within 24-48 hours of new claim input. Recovery of debt claims on behalf of our agencies and creditor-clients are thereafter pursued with persistence and determination until we recover the bad debt claim or we advise our agencies and creditor-clients that recovery is not likely. Our philosophy is the faster we can process and pursue the debt collection claim, the greater the chance of recovery.
HOW WE CHARGE
Fees are based upon flexible percentage recovery agreements. We also render services on an hourly basis for those creditors who prefer this approach to commercial debt collection.
WHERE WE ARE LOCATED
Klapper & Fass has offices in White Plains and Manhattan and services the five counties of New York City as well as the surrounding counties of Westchester, Rockland, Nassau and Suffolk. The firm has pending cases and practices in all state and federal courts of New York.
